Objectives
To identify and analyse the root causes of democratic deficits in education systems across Europe, focusing on inclusivity, participation and pedagogical gaps that affect students’ democratic competences.

- Creation of evidence-based strategies for policymakers and educators
Tasks
- T1.1 Comprehensive literature review on democratic deficits (EHU, JYU)
- T1.2 Case studies in selected regions on educational practices (TLU, ALDA, VABAMU)
- T1.3 Design and administration of surveys and focus groups on civic engagement and misinformation resilience (UoC, UNISI)
