What are Secondments?
Secondments are short-term periods that allow researchers, doctoral candidates and staff to spend time at a partner institution within the project network. Typically lasting between one and three months, these exchanges are designed to strengthen collaboration and foster the circulation of knowledge across institutions.
During a secondment, participants contribute to specific strands of the project through a range of activities, including joint research, training opportunities, workshops and collaborative outputs such as publications or future funding proposals.
Secondments are carried out on a full-time basis for the duration of the mobility period and are closely aligned with the project’s research themes and objectives. Travel and subsistence costs are covered within the framework of the MSCA Staff Exchange programme.
