Secondment activities are primarily based at the University of Siena’s Arezzo Campus, located in a central area of the city.
Teaching and research activities are mainly hosted within the Pionta Complex and other nearby academic buildings, offering convenient access to both the historic centre and the main railway station.

Travel Logistics: How to Get to Arezzo
By Air
The nearest international airport is Florence Airport “Amerigo vespucci”, followed by Pisa Airport “Galileo Galilei”.
By Train
Arezzo is well connected to the national railway network and lies on the main line between Florence and Rome, making it easily accessible by train.
The central station (Arezzo Centrale) is located close to the city centre.
Getting Around
The city centre and campus areas are easily accessible on foot. Local bus services are also available for travel within the city.
University Facilities and Access
Seconded participants will have access to key university facilities, including libraries, study spaces and the Eduroam Wi-Fi network. University canteen services (mensa) may also be available.

Participate in the academic life of the host institution by delivering seminars or workshops (in collaboration with the Teaching and Learning Centre, dedicated to innovative teaching practices.) and attending lectures and seminars.
Access to Facilities and Resources
Make use of specialised research centres such as METEMlab, which focuses on empirical methods in education and training, as well as library and data resources available on campus.
